The 411 on Dossier Perfumes

Nothing says spring more than a fresh new scent to make long lasting memories with. Today, I'm giving you all the 411 on my newly favorite perfume brand, Dossier.

If you're looking for an affordable luxury perfume/cologne, then look no further - Dossier has you covered. Their scents range anywhere from $29 to $49 and you can even get 25% off with free shipping when you bundle 3 or more perfumes in your order!

If you're someone who may be fearful of buying perfumes online, don't fret, each purchase comes with a sample bottle included so you can try out the perfume before committing to the full size bottle - they even offer 30 days for you to return your purchase with a full refund, no questions asked.

Today, I've partnered up with Dossier to tell you all about my two favorite scents, Oriental Vetiver and Floral Pear!

Oriental Vetiver

Unisex

Oriental Vetiver is inspired by Byredo's Bal d'Afrique which retails for a whopping $190 in comparison to Dossier's $39. It's composed of Bergamot, Marigold, Vetiver, and Amber notes, giving it a warm, citrus smell once it settles into your body.

In the past I haven't been much of a perfume wearer, mostly because it takes too much work to find a good one and often times, it just gets overwhelming smelling various perfumes in store before settling on one. However, Dossier makes the process so much easier because of the sample bottle and return policy.

Personally, I plan to wear this perfume out at night since it's a warm scent that gives off more of a sultry feel.

Floral Pear

unisex

Floral Pear is a gorgeous mix of Pear, Rhubarb, Rose, and Freesia, creating the perfect scent for the spring time - it's light, fresh, and has hints of floral. This scent is inspired by Jo Malone's English Pear and Freesia which retails for $100, while Dossier's goes for $29.

I plan to wear this as my day time scent this season so that I can smell like I just walked out of a garden of fresh flowers and fruit!

When ordering your perfumes online, or even buying them in store, I highly recommend letting them sit a while on your skin so that you can smell the difference after they settle. When I first applied Floral Pear and Oriental Vetiver, they honestly smelled very similar - light and like fresh laundry. However, once they settled into my skin, the smells completely changed because of the mix with my body's chemicals.

I was much happier to find out how warm the Oriental Vetiver smelled and how much the Floral Pear smelled exactly as its description!

"But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it you shall not do any work, you or your son, or your daughter, manservant, or your maidservant, or your cattle, or your stranger that is within your gates"
