New York Fashion Week has officially come to an end - time to go over what we saw!

#1: LaQuan Smith
As you all may be able to tell, monochromatic looks have a special place in my heart - especially when it's all black! LaQuan Smith's shows never fail to amaze me; this is the perfect mix of chic and edgy.

#2: Tom Ford
All that glitters isn't gold - in this case, they're jewels! Tom Ford's ability to create a modernized classic look will never go out of style and accentuating the body to perfection is something that he's a pro at.

#3: The Blonds
"The Blonds are best known for [] collections that are glamorously over the top with a rebellious twist that cater to the entertainment industry" - well, ain't that the truth! This entire collection was embellished with extravagant accessories, and I couldn't be happier about it.

#4: Flying Solo
Flying Solo is an independent designer platform composed of many talented designers from all over. I was quite impressed by this season's collections - particularly this dress from Monalizabeth: "rococo dress, 'Versailles'". This definitely gave off rococo vibes with a hint of Alice in Wonderland.

#5: Christopher John Rogers
Christopher John Rogers has a knack for creating elegant but simplistic pieces. This pant suit was exceptional in every way - the iridescent purple and dramatic shoulder pads couldn't have come together better.

#6: Christopher John Rogers
And Rogers did it again! This monochromatic red ensemble just screams "I'm coming to steal your man", or job, whichever you can't live without... The satin blouse with a ruffled front paired with a low hemline skirt, is giving me major 50's house-wife feels, but in a good way!
Verdict: I'm obsessed!

#7: e1972
Miss Fame + Elite = Magic; it's simple math, really. e1972 is the official global fashion brand for Elite Model World - "e1972 is a first of its kind sizeless luxury brand that creates made-to-measure styles and experiences just for you...inspired by [their] diverse global community of creatives and progressive thinkers" says e1972.

#8: AREA
Area did not come to play this season - from jewel encrusted head wraps to using tiny chairs as accessories. Personally, this winged-shoulder body suit was my favorite from their show this season and I would like to wear this everywhere.

#9: JUST IN XX
Just In XX is quite the unique brand. Along with their play on classic monochrome, they also paired the looks with decked out Converse and hats for every occasion. I loved the semi-casual feel of the collection - it wasn't outrageous enough where you couldn't wear it out, but it had just enough pizzazz to be a show stopper in the crowd!

#10: SELF-PORTRAIT
Self-Portrait's show had a very diverse collection. On one hand, they brought the Victorian era back to life! And on the other, they had edgy-chic. I'm a sucker for edgy-chic in any sense, so it's no surprise that I loved this collection.

#11: MONSE
This collection was filled with open panels that accentuated the neckline. Along with this, Monse featured plaid in a number of the looks which gave the collection a bit of edge. I absolutely adored this collection and wouldn't hesitate to wear out any piece at any given moment!

#12: Badgley Mischka
Badgley Mischka is just oozing with elegance, sophistication, and power. This was look number 12 from the collection and feels like the opening scene from Breakfast at Tiffany's - how could you not fall in love with it?

#13: Zimmermann
And last but not least, Zimmermann - if I did a "top favorite looks" from every season, I guarantee Zimmermann would be on my list at least once every time. I have no words!!!
Now, of course I could go on and on about the collections I loved from this season, but no one wants to sit here for an hour to see my fawning over shoe decals and trumpet sleeves. So, for now, I'll leave you with my top 13 looks from #NYFW this season and bid you farewell!

Until next time,
xoxo
