How to Travel in Style

While I'm certainly a fan of travelling while wearing practically your pajamas and not caring what the world thinks about how you look, I also like to make a statement sometimes as well.

Today, I'm giving you all a few tips on how to travel in style when you're tired of wearing the same travel outfit!

Comfortable Shoes

It goes without saying that wearing comfortable shoes is a game changer. Personally, when I want to look good while travelling, I love to wear these loafers pictured above because they are honestly the most comfortable shoes that I own - I can walk all day in these without my feet hurting! If you're looking for comfortable shoes for travelling, I highly suggest loafers, your favorite sneakers, or sturdy slippers!

Sweater Materials

Pieces that are sweater material are great for travelling - they're ultra comfy, keep you warm in cold airports, and are usually super cute without having to be styled!

When it comes to sweaters, sweater vests, and anything of the sort, I find it best to look through local thrift stores. Personally, I love vintage sweaters, or vintage inspired sweaters - so, what better place to shop than the thrift?

Loungewear

Wearing cute loungewear is the ultimate travelling hack when it comes to clothes. If you want to look good while waiting around at an airport or on the plane, you can throw on a few pieces of jewelry, throw your hair up, wear your favorite sweat set, and you're good to go!

Of course, my favorite place to browse for sweat sets is The Mayfair Group - their sets are cute and inspiring. My other two favorite sweat sets have come from FCUK (French Connection U.K.) and Vacancy Supply!

Breathable Pants

It's safe to say that I'm obsessed with pants - in my opinion, pants can make or break your outfit. There are so many cool pant options in the world to explore so I encourage you to build your pant collection!

When travelling, wearing breathable pants is of the utmost importance; you'll most like be sitting in a plane, car, airport, or some destination for an extended period of time, so you'll need your abdomen to be as comfortable as possible.

Bottoms like yoga pants, pants with other stretchy materials, and if you're a jeans lover, loose fitting jeans, will be the best options to wear.

Tote Bags

We are in the age of the "hot girl tote bag". Tote bags are extremely useful when travelling because you can throw practically your whole life into them! It is much too easy to lose things while travelling - but, if you have one bag that you're keeping all of your most important stuff in, then you should be safe!

I'm not the biggest fan of tote bags when it comes to everyday life because I'm more of a tiny bag girl, but their utility while travelling is what makes them essential in my book.
