If your closet is anything like mine, then loungewear has completely taken over - so, you might as well make the most use out of it all! Today, I'm going to give you all some tips on how to dress up your loungewear so that you can get the most variety out of your sets!

Tip 1
Juxtapose
Whenever I find a lounge set that I like, my immediate thought is always on how I can turn it into a completely different look by pairing it with a different vibe. For this set from Lani the Label, I decided to go with a retro look - I paired the pants with one of my favorite tops that I found at Goodwill and created a whole 70's look out of it!

Tip 2
Add Jewelry
The key to dressing up any look is always adding jewelry - you can make any outfit instantly 10 times better just by adding some jewelry.
I paired the look pictured above with gold jewelry and a chunky yellow necklace to add to the retro aesthetic.

Tip 3
Add a Blazer
Personally, I believe that blazers are an absolute essential to any wardrobe.
I paired this knit set from Resurrection with an oversized blazer that I thrifted to elevate the look. The tan paired well with the blush pink and made for a simpler look so I could add my snakeskin boots as accent pieces.

Tip 4
Pair with Heels
Heels are always a great way to elevate any look, whether it's a sweat suit, a loungewear set, or pairing them with a pair of jeans, I highly recommend getting yourself a pair of staple heels that you can wear with a variety of looks.
My go-to heels are usually boots because they're more comfortable and much more versatile in terms of the seasons.

Tip 5
Wear a Statement Bag
The one thing that I always hear from people when looking at statement bags is: "What would I even wear this with? I have nothing that matches!" - that, my friend, is the whole point!
Statement pieces aren't supposed to "match" your outfits per say, they're supposed to bring attention to themselves and in turn, your whole look. So, the next time you fall in love with a bag and talk yourself out of buying it just because 'you don't have anything that matches', just get the bag!
For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls away: but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached to you.
